Hello everybody. Thank you for reading the blog. We love hearing from you and reading the comments you leave after you read. Some of you may have noticed that the following image pops up beside your comments:
Well, this image is just a placeholder for people who don’t have gravatars. If you’ve ever been on blogs and seen how some people have pictures of themselves or another cool graphic beside their comments, you’re about to find out what they are and how to get one.
Those pictures are called Gravatars or, Globally Recognized Avatars. The picture is linked to your e-mail, so that when you leave a comment and your email, your picture pops up with your comment. You can set up your gravatar by going to http://en.gravatar.com/ and signing up. It will ask for your e-mail, and then you upload a picture. That’s that. From then on, when you leave a comment on just about any blog, your picture will show up with it. Cool, huh?
We think it would be fun for you guys to do it, so that we can see your picture when we read what you have to say. So go get a gravatar and then leave a comment! 🙂

Hey, this is cool! Look at my picture all fancy schmancy on the comment!
Hey, it is a good picture. I think I took that one 😉
Look, there you are! And there I am again!
OK, so now I know how to get a “gravatar.” So, where do I get a picture of myself that I don’t mind people seeing?
Hey mom. Thanks for commenting.
Jacob,
Interesting website. Quite a conglomeration of pictures and info.
