Tonya’s Post About Christmas Nuts

Tonya wanted to post but its getting late and so she’s going to bed. I took an excessively long nap today and so because I won’t be able to get to sleep, I’m doing her post for her.  This is what she wanted me to tell you:

“My family always gets nuts every year for christmas. So when we were in the store we saw these nuts and decided to get some. But when we brought them home we realized we didn’t have a nutcracker, so we used a hammer to break them open instead.”

Pictures are below.

  1. That’s funny! I’ve been thinking about you two and it being your first Christmas together officially! I hope you are having fun discovering and creating which traditions you will have together. Yes, nuts is a tasty one. heheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
We try to make a dessert each weekend in December and are going to make Jenny’s pumpkin bread as one of our treats. Have to make the fudge too. It’s hard to learn to downsize after having everyone here last year.
It has snowed a ton here this past few days. I bought a yard Christmas decoration that says “Let it Snow” and put it up about 9pm Saturday. By 10:30pm it was starting to snow heavily and lasted for two days!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who would have thunk?!
It’s time for Christmas vacation next week. Man, are we ready for that. Good luck on your tests, Jacob. And good luck in your job Tonya.
Seasons Greetings to you. Love, mama
