I like birthdays. They’re like an extra holiday that nobody else puts on their calendar but is special only to you and the people that know you best. Anyway, instead of talk about what we did yesterday on my birthday, I’ll just show with the pictures. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then we’re saying an awful lot here.

Also, we went to this really great baptism last night too. This guy was the son in law of the ward mission leader. His in laws and his wife didn’t know that he was planning to get baptized. He took the missionary lessons in secret and surprised his family yesterday, dressed in white after they got done with an interview with the branch president. Pretty awesome. There were tears all around and it was a very special occasion.

later we went out to go play. we jumped over this mud puddle, but tonya lost a shoe in the process.

this is the million dollar dessert tonya made me while I was forbidden from entering the kitchen. she even spelled my name in the whip cream. My wife’s creativity knows no bounds.

Happy Birthday, Jacob! Glad you’re getting to celebrate them now. That dessert is so good, huh? What an awesome baptism story too.

Happy Birthday J! Crazy picture of Todd! I don’t think I’ve ever seen him with that much facial hair… So, what was under all the whipped cream? It looked yummy! Great job on the football photo. Seriously, your kids will have so much fun with your obsession/interest in taking photos! Love ya!
