The Tingens

Buon Natale!

I’m just guessing that I spelled that right…It means Merry Christmas in Italian! Most of you who read our blog already know this because we talked or skyped with you over Christmas, but we’ll still post about our Italian Christmas festivities anyway and share some pictures. We spent the morning together opening presents (people were very nice to us, thank you so much!) and in the afternoon we headed to Antonella and Pablo’s for lunch; if you haven’t guessed, Antonella is from Italy and she shared some Italian traditions with us, including a very scrumptious meal of lasagne and pork roast and salad and homemade bread compliments of Antonella’s mom, and also a few rounds of Tombola! (TOM-boh-la!) Italian bingo.

Afterwards our downstairs neighbor invited us for dinner. Luckily we had tombola in between our two meals so we barely had enough room for Melanie’s delicious ham and scalloped potatoes.

Merry Christmas everyone! I just can’t believe how blessed we are. Thank you for supporting us and showing your love for us.
