The Tingens

Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman

Not really.

But there was a snow castle!

At least, today in Richmond there was a snow castle. I can’t believe we’re still getting this much snow. But, since it’s here and apparently decided to stay this time, we decided we would make our snow days much more fun and tastier to boot.

  1. It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas, everywhere you go, because of all the snow. take a look out my front door,
    before you sleep and snore,
It’s whirling, swirling, and really churling. And snow angels all aglow….
It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas………

    Pine cones and holly berries…..
Wow, feel all of that snow! Do you folks have any holly trees near you? We had many up in Arlington when we lived there and it was really cool to have red holly berries in the winter to go with the cold weather and Christmas scenes.
Don’t you wish you had our snow shoes to try out? That would be awesome to plunge around in. We used our snowshoes again last weekend and still got to trek down the Provo bike trail covered in snow, and it was by the river so it was pretty too. Enjoy.~!
Hopefully Holly will tell you about her Irish Dance Feis from Saturday, Feb 6! Ask her about it if she doesn’t tell you soon. Have a great week and look forward to a package in your mailbox for Valentine’s day.

    1. Y’know what, I actually have been thinking about your snowshoes and how useful they would be out here, and how fun it would be with the family…

  2. Looks like you forgot the eggs and used regular milk. How was the snow cream? I’ve only ever made it with sweetened condensed milk, so I’m curious. Glad you had fun in the snow!

  3. The snow castle is my favorite. If it stays up for a while, you could even put a flag on the turrets and start ambushing the neighbors.
