We turned one year old as a married couple on December 30; happy anniversary Jacob! I am definitely the luckiest to be married to Jacob. He is a marvelous husband, so supportive and caring and cheerful and funny and _____ and ____ and _____ … (fill in any positive qualities you can think of). He has his priorities on the Lord and on our family, which I am so grateful for. You’re a good man, Jacob Tingen 🙂
We celebrated by driving up to the DC temple to see the lights, staying overnight and going to the temple on the actual day of our anniversary. The Christmas lights were so beautiful, and even more beautiful was the peace of being in the Lord’s house and reflecting on the covenants of eternal families. I love to see the temple…

DC is my favorite temple so I have to put in a plug for how beautiful the lights are at Christmas time there. We got a chance to visit there too while we lived there and there ia indeed a beautiful peace and love in the temple. What a great way to spend an anniversary for you two.
