Howdy all. Last week in Richmond we had some visitors from Utah. Tonya’s parents came out and we went to Richmond’s very own Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens. It was cool because they had all this glass artwork amidst the different plants. But that was Saturday and I’m getting ahead of myself. Friday night we went to see Gladys Knight touring with the Saints Unified Voices. We were lucky enough to have some investigator friends come too and get reasonably excited about how cool mormons are. And before/during all that, I (Jacob) had this crazy bluebook exam for lawschool. The bluebook exam is a four day test about how to properly cite material in a footnote. The exam was 30 pages long and took me about 35 hrs to complete. It literally took all four days, so I was in a rush to get it done so we could spend time with Tonya’s parents.
Then on sunday we had stake conference, but it was one of those broadcast ones, so we got to listen to Elder Sitati, Elder Jensen, Sister Thompson, and President Packer. That was cool, and Sunday afternoon we had some friends come over for food and fun with us and Mark and Marlene. Anyway, pictures are below, but most are from the botanical gardens.

How are you? I am posting this just to see if you get it so you know I am saying hello to you! So Hello. How is life there? Hard to believe June is over next week. It went so fast. We are doing pretty good here.
Holly is learning to play the “Entertainer” on the piano this week. She got her license last week too, so she can driver herself to music lessons starting next week! Hard to believe that all of you kids have your driver’s licenses now. Trina is doing well at DI. We watched Toy Story 1,2. Your dad and I saw toy Story 3-it was GOOD! For my latest toy, I bought an MnM hand fan. It helps in the instant heat wave that we have this week.
