A day at Maymont

Since Jacob has been absorbed in finals and final projects for the past couple weeks (poor guy), I’ve been spending more time with my mom and Natalie, mostly around the house but yesterday we took a trip to Maymont Park downtown. Once we finally got there–a wrong turn took us half an hour off the beaten path–we had a lovely time walking around, enjoying the beauties of flora and fauna across the park.

  1. Ah, it all looks so beautiful. You are making me want to move to Virginia… Actually, I already want to, these photos just reinforce my opinion.

Is that camera our mom is holding really hers? Even with the photo, I find it hard to believe. 🙂

  2. Even I can’t remember a time your mom didn’t have the old camera…:)
Looks like you guys had a great day out.

  3. Haha, while it is true that my mom did buy the new red camera and has actually been using it (especially trying to capture action shots of our birds taking a bath), she just informed me that when we went to the park she was still carrying the old “clunker” (her words) in her bag with two rolls of film…
