Hey everybody, we know it’s been awhile since we posted. We must be busy getting ready for something important, but I can’t for the life of me remember what… 😉

Anyway, Brent and Jenny and Julia came down for spring break and we had tons of fun with them. We also hung out with a friend from Utah, had a baby shower, and spent yesterday in the sun.Â Pictures are below.

We took our guests to visit a pet store because they had some puppies. Julia got to pet a few of the puppies.

We went to this hobby story, which is more like a mecca for mormon scrapbookers and decorators. This is the sign on the door. We think it’s cool they observe the sabbath.

We went to Maymont Park again to meet up with Tonya and Jenny and Brent’s friend from Timpview highschool

This lake is really cool. Apparently they stock it with trout and catfish and you can come here and fish.

I guess because it was the hispanic bridal shower, they had plenty of time to take pictures before people showed up

People eventually came to the baby shower. A lot of people.

These girls are the children of our Puerto Rican neighbors. They’re lots of fun. More on them later.

You probably recognize Teresa and her daughters, Dania and Karen-Nicole. The other girl back there is Julyanna.

They played the game where you guess how many pieces of toilet paper fit around the pregnant woman’s stomach.

If you’re into looking at baby clothes, the next dozen pictures or so are for you 🙂

Brent and Jacob were going to stay home the whole time, but a twist of fate brought them to the baby shower as well. Jacob helped open presents and later got all sorts of advice…

We’re very very grateful for all the support for the baby we’re getting both here and from Utah, Georgia, Arizona and any other state where you’ve sent your love, prayers, and baby clothes

Julia found the sugary foods at the baby shower.

Julia got out like a bandit at the baby shower. She got cupcakes, balloons, and even hung out in a playroom.

Later we played Settlers of Catan. This picture is just to show how random it was that the buildings were built the same way in a row. We didn’t plan this.

We enjoyed having Brent, Jenny, and Julia with us, but they eventually had to go back home.

This was a comical gift from the baby shower. Here’s a dozen eggs, right?

Tonya won the longest road in our game with them.

Yesterday (Saturday) we spent most of the day outside barbecuing, eating and playing with our Puerto Rican neighbors.

Always a good time with them. These pictures are of their little girls dancing to Miley Cyrus’ hit song “Party in the USA.” If you’ve never heard it, the lyrics to this song are profound and have amazing depth… Nah, I didn’t mean that, but the tune is catchy.

We played dominoes for two hours or so, then came home and watched the BYU game.

One more picture. Does anybody else have a problem with this? Something about it…
