So we recently got an ultrasound now that we’re getting closer to actually having our baby. If you haven’t heard already, we’re having another girl!
We thought you might enjoy taking a look at some of these ultrasound pictures.
As for names, Tonya has been keeping a list of baby names for a long time. She regularly works on, refines, and redrafts the list of baby names. Hazel was at the top of the list for the next baby girl for a while now. The middle name has been in flux, but for some reason the morning of the ultrasound, Tonya came out and said that she really liked the idea of Hazel Lois.
I don’t really come up with names, I just have veto power. So it’s a good thing I actually really like the name “Hazel Lois” too, so unless the middle name gets dropped at some point in the future, that’s probably what our next baby girl’s name ends up being.
Tonya is due in November–she still doesn’t look that pregnant, and a few people in the branch didn’t even know we were having a baby until today when we told them we were having a girl. They were like “Wait, you’re pregnant?” The baby is sitting really really low this time, so she’s only just now starting to turn Tonya’s stomach into a well-defined baby bump.

Wow, those ultrasound pictures are so detailed. I didn’t realize you could see the baby’s face almost 3D looking. Congratulations on expecting Hazel in Nov.!
Mom always wanted me to use Lois, and I like it, but with a Clark, I thought that wouldn’t be appropriate. Glad to hear it’s going to get used! Congrats on having another girl. Maybe it’s a sign for us?
