For some reason, on the days when I have to get up maybe an hour or so earlier than usual, my body sometimes overcompensates and gets up like five hours early. Maybe it just wants to make sure I don’t miss the alarm, but even so, that’s going just a little too far.
Still, I got some good inspiration from Church magazines and some good tastiness from peanut butter toast, and now you have the joy of finally seeing a post with the videos we’ve been promising.
As Natalie’s doting parents of course we love every minute of these videos, but we understand if you want to skip some parts 🙂 The shoes and Cookie Monster really crack me up in some parts, and the laughing and rocking chair are just plain cute 🙂

Natalie and Cookie…thank you grandparents Showalter! She really freaked out at first with Cookie Monster’s mouth opening (we didn’t catch the crying on video), but now she’s gotten over it. I still don’t understand why she rejected her blanket at the end of the video when she asked for it.

Natalie loves shoes…I love how politely she tells Jacob, “No, no!” when he offers her a hand. And she still carries her blanket forward-cape/I’m-going-to-ambush-you style; I can’t think of another way to describe it

She has definitely hit her vocabulary explosion, huh?! Love the shoe parade, and her laughing in each video.
