Georgia, 5-year anniversary!

We had a good time reflecting on our last five years and planning on how we would like the coming years to be.

Jacob is the man of my dreams a hundred times over! Every day I am so glad that we are married, and every day I am so glad that we are married in the temple.

5 minutes from our destination, we waited for half an hour on a two-lane highway. The girls were superpower travelers but they lost it at this last part. So did I.

Callaway Gardens butterfly house

all families went to Callaway for the day and seeing the Christmas lights at night

Jacob and I stayed at the Callaway lodge for our anniversary

we got to go canoeing

it was a beautiful day!

we shored up where there was a gazebo, where we sat for 2 minutes until some hikers came along and ruined what might have been a romantic moment

we didn’t go to the coke factory, but it was right next to the aquarium

Natalie and Hazel fell asleep after the aquarium on the way to Warren and Micah’s, and rather than wake them up prematurely, we kept driving on to Alabama

then turned around to go back to Georgia

her imagination took her to far-off places…”I’m going to work Mommy! Let’s go to work!” Oh man. We have got to expand our horizons.

last week I took the girls to the VA museum of art, then we stopped at the VA Historical society, which unfortunately was mostly closed

Natalie fell off the stool and bumped her chin, and fell down the stairs and bumped her cheek

our family tradition of wearing pants on our head. And Hazel loves necklaces and bracelets! She can put them on herself.
