We got to experience a taste from home the weekend before Halloween–the church here apparently has a Festival of Nations just like the Spanish group in Richmond, so we got to enjoy food and culture represented from several Spanish-speaking countries. USA had some delicious chili, apple pie, and Halloween candy, but I didn’t even get to ours because I was filling up on empanadas, tortillas, ceviche, etc from everywhere else. I enjoyed everyone else’s singing and dancing but gotta be honest, USA rocked the house with the electric slide 😉

Way to go Hermanas!!! Can you imagine eating food from each country in one night? you might be able to waddle home the next day after eating all of the food. I hope you each at least got to try a few dishes.
