My friend’s birthday party

The ride there

1 month ago I went to my friend’s birthday party. She is really good at english. She said she goes to a place called instituto de america(american institute) to learn english. The party was a rock climbing rope course place called vertical park. It was indoors. It took 30 minutes to get there so instead of going home I went strait from school to the party ( because school ends at four). Everybody who was going to the party kept separating into different groups. First there was all of us then me, my friend, another girl, and somebody else walked to my friend’s house. The other people stayed and played on the playground and two other people went on the metro. At my friend’s house we dropped off our back packs and me, the other person, and my friend’s mom went to the metro. the metro train was very different. After two stops we went into this mall underground place. We went up a couple of elevators and went onto a bus. The bus was also very very different. It had fluffy seats and it went on the free way so it was definitely not a city bus. I was talking english to my friend’s mom and somebody asked me if I was from the U.S. I said yes and told him I was from Virginia. He told me that he had some friend’s who visited the U.S. and one of them had visited Virginia. He also said that he was an english teacher so that’s why he knew some people who went to the U.S. After that we finally got off the bus and we had to walk 5 minutes. When we got there we saw the other people who were also coming to the birthday. I wondered why we had all separated if we were all going to the same place.

The party

The first thing we did was rock climbing. It was really fun. There was this one rock wall that I wanted to try that nobody could finish but the time to climb was done so I couldn’t do it. I really really really wish I had gotten to do it. After the rock climbing we went to the ropes course you had to pass each level to go to the next. First blue then yellow then red. They were all pretty easy compered to the ones I did back in Virginia that day it was rainy it made the course slippery. (That was one of my friends back in Virginias birthday party that was way funner then this probably because the whole thing was empty so no waiting and also we all got soked I really liked that birthday party.) Back to the ropes course I did two days ago. I hated waiting it always took forever (unlike the birthday back in Virginia) and the person in front of me acted like she was in charge of everything so she kept telling me when I could go and when I couldn’t. After I finished all the courses I did the red again and after I finished that the person in charge kept telling us to do one of the little courses for toddlers that one was pretty easy and annoying I did it about 10 times. After those annoying 10 times we went to eat. The two thing they had were hotdogs and pizza. I chose pizza I really DO NOT like hot dogs. I didn’t really like the pizza either because it had little chunks of ham all over it. I like cheese pizza much better then pizza with meat. After that I went home in my friend’s dad’s car with my friend the girl from earlier and some other girl instead of the bus and metro.

Going back

The whole ride my friend’s dad put on Disney songs and we guessed what the songs were from. Because of the two other people we had to stop two times until we got to my friends house wich was where mommy was waiting (she walked there wich is pretty long). My friend’s dad asked if we wanted to ride in his car back to our house in his car so we did. My friend wanted to come along so she did.
