The Tingens

Spicy Food…Hot Date

For our date night this last week, Tonya came home and mentioned she wanted to eat middle eastern food. And I said, “You mean like indian food?” And she said, “No, like Afghan food or something like that.” So we googled middle eastern food in richmond and found this Pakistani place called Kabab’s. It was only about a 20 minute drive.

After that we stopped by barne’s and noble and used a giftcard I got at christmas (thankyou Mark and Marlene) and picked up the Lord of the rings Trilogy (all in one volume) and the Lightning Thief which is the first book in the Percy Jackson series. I already finished the lightning thief. It’s pretty good, and I would recommend it.

Anyway, as always, we had a great time friday night. Hoping all of you are having a great start to the year and enjoying yourselves too.

  1. Fun stuff! I don’t think I’d ever think of going to an Afghan restaurant on a date. Of course, we’d have to find a sitter first. I hope the food was good!

  2. He he, glad you love to try ethnic foods. That is cool, or hot and spicy, heheeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Virginia is a great place to try ethnic foods. Enjoy
